Since Yuno came into my life in 2022, a childhood dream has become a passion: combining style, awareness, and the love of dogs.
For me, being a dog mom doesn't mean sacrificing aesthetics, but rather combining them with functionality.

From idea to product
Our story
The idea for HILOWIND arose from a simple need: I was looking for a bag with matching accessories that would suit life with a dog, without compromising between design and function.
This is how HILOWIND was born: a brand that combines aesthetics, craftsmanship and sustainability.
Our Dog Walking Bags are made from high-quality vegan apple leather in a small, women-run workshop in Portugal.
Not a mass-produced item from Asia. But honest craftsmanship with soul.

Our name HILOWIND combines two images: Hilo in Hawaii, an inspiring place of natural beauty, warmth, and a positive outlook on life, and the wind, which represents lightness, movement, and freedom. Together, they embody what our brand stands for: a stylish, conscious, and aesthetic way of traveling that feels good and that we experience together with our dogs.
