At HILOWIND, we place great value on quality, craftsmanship, and conscious production. That's why we work with a small, owner-operated workshop in Portugal that shares our values ​​and where every detail is crafted with love and care.

A studio where craftsmanship lives

Our bags are made in a small workshop run by a dedicated craftswoman. In her studio, true craftsmanship is still practiced – far removed from mass production and assembly line work. Here, as an experienced artisan, she creates each bag largely on her own, with great dedication and precision.

Made with intention

It is important to us to source materials and handle production within Europe to ensure short supply chains and fair working conditions. By collaborating with our Portuguese workshop, we support the local economy and simultaneously contribute to a more conscious use of materials – for example, by using vegan apple leather instead of conventional plastics.

Why Portugal?

Portugal is known for its long tradition in leather and textile processing. Furthermore, we deliberately chose a production site in Europe to keep transport routes to Switzerland as short as possible.

In this way, we not only minimize CO₂ emissions, but also support sustainable production within Europe.
